I did a lot of research on breeders of Springer Spaniels for 3 years before I found Dave Krassler of Citari Kennels, Dave is all about his dogs an training them, and it shows in the pups! I’ve contacted Dave many times to ask questions on training, (the do’s an don’ts) Dave’s a great guy an knowledgeable. He helped me out a lot. I bought a pup from him a year and a half ago. Bell is a beautiful dog, very smart, she learns very quickly. she goes everywhere with me, she’s my shadow, an she’s great with kids too.
She is more than I ever expected in the field, these pictures were from the last hunt where she flushed 9 birds! (She’s still training, she likes to flush them far out where I don’t get a shot 😊 but she’s learning ) she is the best springer I’ve hunted with, highest energy level (just what I was looking for)….always got her nose down, stays close in the field when called…I couldn’t ask for a better hunting dog! I get so many compliments with her from the guys at the gun club and from people at the places I’ve hunted. I’ve recommended your dogs to all of them.
Dave, whatever you’re doing with your Springers, don’t change anything! I will definitely come back to Citari Kennels for another pup!
