After doing some research, it turned out we found Citari Kennels in our home state of Massachusetts! Our springer, Max, just turned two in November and has been a terrific family pet and hunting partner.
He is incredible with family and friends, always looking to play fetch, but quick to lay next to the kids on the couch. In the field, he is all business and has earned his keep. At just a couple of months old, it was clear he was an athlete and showed a strong desire to please. I was amazed at his natural ability to quarter and use the wind to find dummies and pigeons at such a young age. He actually out hunted other dogs before he even turned one! We just finished our second season and his drive is incredible, his nose is terrific, and stays tight. Such a joy to watch in the field.
