Fourteen years ago at the Outdoor Sportsman Show in Wilmington MA, we met Dave Krassler and his dogs. After spending most of the day watching Dave interact with his dogs, speaking with him, and watching the show again and again. We made the decision to purchase our first Citari Springer. Soon after picking up Citari’s Tazmanian Terror, we were in love.
His demeanor around the home was wonderful. He went thru Dave’s gundog program and while there for the pickup of Tazz. we committed to a second Springer: Citari’s Dakota Sioux. She too, was wonderful in the home and exceptional in the field. Both dogs were intelligent, level headed, eager to learn and please and possessed a exceptional nose in the field.
Now, we once again found ourselves on the search for Dave Krassler and Citari Kennels for another puppy. Dave’s dedication to his dogs and the love they receive from him is exactly why nothing but a “Citari” dog would suffice! His wealth of knowledge and his availability to us, whether it be a phone call, text or email… is above and beyond all expectations. We now have Citari’s Rockie’s Shadow… with the commitment to another Citari puppy yet to come!
