When we began looking for a Springer Spaniel we knew we wanted both a hunting companion and a family pet. Citari Kennels produces that exemplifies what we love and look for in a Springer Spaniel: temperament, biddability, a strong desire to please, and raw natural hunting instincts at a very young age.
Our dog Riggins, from Citari’s Sassy and Hawk, has truly been a pleasure to train and hunt over. In the field he is biddable, birdy, and a force to be reckoned with. At just over a year he had two passes towards his Junior Hunter Title and is ready to start training towards his Senior Hunter this year. At home he is a love and desires nothing more than to be with us. He gets along every person and dog alike. We look forward to seeing Riggins progress and will certainly be returning to Citari and David for our next Springer!
